Ms. Rodriguez

By: Naiomi L. Ramos

I interviewed Ms. Rodriguez and asked her some questions, she answered them and now I’m going to tell you a little about her.

Ms. Rodriguez teaches Pre-Algebra and Geometry, she also has been teaching math for 9 years. She has taught 7th Grade Math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Math for College Readiness.

She wanted to become a math teacher because when she was in Pre-K she would come home from school and teach her little sister what she learned in math. For her that was play-time between her and her sister until her sister got tired of doing homework for school and for her.

Ms. Rodriguez says that the best part of being a math teacher is working with the kids and seeing the kids growth from 1 year to the next. If Ms. Rodriguez can be in any profession than she would choose to be acting in sketch comedy.

That’s all i have about Ms.Rodriguez. I would love to interview more teachers if they would like me to. Contact me at 4804139267@students.ocps.net for more information on how to get interviewed. It would be a pleasure to interview you and to have you in our school newspaper.

Interviewing Mr. Lucero

By Nomar Gonzalez

First thing, when I interviewed Mr. Lucero said that he works as a teacher for seven years and went to UCF. Mr. Lucero became a teacher for the money and the summers (haha). The first impression he made when he first started teaching was that he even impressed himself.

Mr. Lucero would never want to be a principal because principals never take summers off. There’s nothing that he wishes he could teach, but aren’t allowed to do.

Next, Mr. Lucero said that if he could have any job in the world, he would be a stay at home dad. If he could have any car it would be bug bus, Benson. The class that was the hardest was Latin because he just hated it.

Make sure to stop by and say hello to Mr. Lucero next time you pass by his classroom!
